The Best Barbershop of SF as voted by SF Magazine has now expanded to Walnut Creek! With being a staple in San Francisco for 10 years, the Dogpatch Barber and Shave has now expanded to Walnut Creek as the Dogpatch Barber East! Born and raised in SF, owner Chris Cream has been a Walnut Creek resident for several years now. His vision for hair cutting and hair art has opened many doors in his career, but none bigger than earning the title of Best of the Bay, Best Barbershop of SF by San Fran Magazine. Since then, the barbershop has been featured in media outlets such as Men’s Journal, The New Yorker, Fast Company, commercials such as Chime and Gillette, and more. He plans to bring the same energy to the East Bay. Chris knows the barbershop is nothing without community, however. In SF, he has led community park clean up events, free haircuts for the underserved, and backpack and supply giveaways for students. As an individual barber, he is a firm believer in being his true individual self, knowing the fact that the barbershop is a judgement free zone, open to people from all walks of life. It’s with this same attitude that has led him to being a part of the first ever barber reality competition show, the SF Gillette and P&G Ambassador, and now the current team barber for the San Francisco Giants. He now resides in Concord with his Fiancée and their three Daughters. Book now and see what we’re all about!
