Polar Plunge & 5k Fun Run benefiting Special Olympics Northern California

Join us for the San Francisco 5K & Polar Plunge to benefit Special Olympics Northern California on Saturday, March 26, at Aquatic Park. 

The family-friendly event will begin with a scenic 5K fun-run along the Bay with beautiful views of the city and the Golden Gate Bridge. Walkers, runners and families are welcome. Registration is $45 for the 5K and includes a commemorative medal.

Following the 5K, make a splash with hundreds of costumed friends for the iconic Polar Plunge into the Bay. Plungers can dive in all the way, just dip in and out, or stay completely dry and still enjoy the experience. Every Plunger must raise a minimum of $125 and will receive a Polar Plunge t-shirt and hot lunch. Cool School participants must raise a minimum of $50 to Plunge but must raise a minimum of $125 to earn the t-shirt and lunch.  Additional fundraising is encouraged and incentives are available. 

Special Olympics supporters may choose to do just the 5K, the Polar Plunge, or both! Funds raised directly support Special Olympics Northern California programs in sports, schools, health and leadership.
