In the top echelon of today’s pianists – recently inducted into Gramophone Magazine’s “Hall of Fame” – Ms Hewitt’s interpretations of Bach have established her as one of that composer’s foremost interpreters. Recently, at the invitation of Wigmore Hall, she performed the complete keyboard works of Bach in twelve concerts over four years.
