Basic tax strategies, 2019 changes, and how to get free help with this year’s tax returns. The government continues to change the rules on tax laws and meanwhile we need to prepare for April 15. AARP Tax-Aide Program volunteer Jack Cooper will join us again this year at Walnut Creek Village’s “Taxes Matter” program to give you the big picture on current and upcoming tax issues for Contra Costa County seniors, where to get free help with taxes, and resources for researching tax questions.
