We will meet in Howe Homestead Park in Walnut Creek and head into Shall Ridge. The hike is two miles round trip and overlooks Indian Valley with views to Mt. Diablo and has about a 300-foot gain and loss. Shell Ridge's Camelback Hills are the western edge of the open space and are riddled with shell fossils.
