Storytime and Craft with Local Author Ana Bianchi

Join us at Flashlight Books on Sunday, June 2nd at 11:00am to meet Ana Bianchi, author of The Swimmers: Paper Cut-Outs with Matisse.  Learn about Matisse and the beautiful art he created with paper cut-outs.  Following a reading, we will have a craft where you can create cut-out art just like Matisse, to be hung in our store!  We will also have snacks and drinks to help fuel creativity!  Both The Swimmers and Ms. Bianchi’s first book, The Sailor Who Loved to Draw, are beautifully illustrated and written, and will be available to purchase and signing.  Perfect for ages 6+.
