Mountain Shadow Film Society's Monthly Show
Mountain Shadow's show for June: Opening in select Bay Area theaters in June, Mountain Shadow has snagged another one for our local community! Winner of Cannes’ Palme d’Or Award, comes this new and powerfully touching film by Ken Loach. Synopsis: After having suffered a heart-attack a fifty-nine year-old carpenter must fight the system and bureaucratic forces in order to receive support. Rated-R, 100 min. This show will also include the short film recently show at the Walnut Creek International Short Film Festival, "Mining Poems or Odes."
