The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Light The Night Walk funds treatments that are saving the lives of patients today. LLS is making cures happen by providing patient support services, advocacy for lifesaving treatments and the most promising cancer research anywhere. And it's all happening now. Not someday, but today.
Friends, families and co-workers form fundraising teams, and consumers help by donating at retail outlets. These efforts culminate in inspirational evening walks in nearly 200 communities across North America each fall.
Join us at the 2015 East Bay Light The Night Walk at Civic Park in Walnut Creek. The event is free to register and features music, activities for kids, and an easy 2 mile walk through downtown Walnut Creek. All who raise $100 or more become Champions For Cures entitling them to dinner catered by Fuddruckers, a t-shirt, and an illuminated lantern. Walkers carry red lanterns in support of loved ones, gold in memory of loved ones lost, and white if they are a survivor.
