CBD is quickly gaining popularity among patients seeking relief from inflammation, chronic pain, anxiety, depression, and sleep. But what is CBD, and can it really help with these conditions? Where can you buy it, and should you consider the hemp-derived CBD products that are sold online and in stores versus CBD products being sold in dispensaries? And what is the difference between those types of products?
Join us at this meetup to talk about CBD, it's benefits, what to look for in products, and how it's being used effectively by other patients.
We'll provide a brief 10-15 minute presentation to get the conversation going. We encourage attendees to share their knowledge and experience and to ask questions.

About our Meetup Group: Conversations About Cannabis Join us at one of our free hosted events to participate in discussions about cannabis.
Who should join: This meetup group is intended for those who are new to cannabis or who are familiar with it and want to learn more.
Why join: This is an opportunity for attendees to share information and learn some of the fundamentals about cannabis, such as:
- What's the difference between CBD & THC?
- What are the different routes of administration?
- How to understand the different products and labeling.
- How and where to buy it? What questions to ask?
- Current legal issues, accessing cannabis locally.
What members can expect: At our meetup we will focus on one topic per meeting, such as: cannabinoids and their therapeutic value, how to buy cannabis, hemp CBD, or local laws. This will be a guided discussion that will begin with a brief 10-15 minute presentation about the topic, followed by a shared conversation among attendees. Attendees will be encouraged to share their experiences, knowledge, and pose questions to the group. The discussion will be facilitated by a knowledgeable cannabis educator who can help answer questions and ensure that the group stays on topic.
